MidWeek at MidTown May 31st

MidWeek at MidTown May 31st

Midtown Catholic is a community of two parishes in the Archdiocese of Omaha. We are One Church: Encountering Jesus, Equipping Disciples, and Living Mercy.

Totus Tuus this Summer

Totus Tuus is returning to Midtown July 9-14, 2023!  Held at St. Thomas More and open to youth going into 1st through 12th grades, Totus Tuus, meaning “totally yours,” is an incredible summer camp where youth learn from about Christ through song, prayer, Mass, games, and more!  Registration is online here: Totus Tuus – Midtown Catholic

We also can’t do this program without you!  Please prayerfully consider volunteering to help with one or more of the following tasks:

  • Housing:  Four young adult missionaries from the Archdiocese visit our parish to put on this program.  They need a place to stay while they are here.
  • Food: Our missionaries need meals provided during the week!
  • Middle and High school helpers: We encourage youth who attend the evening program to help out during the day program.  It’s a great way to earn service hours.
  • Adult volunteers for the day program.  The RE Coordinator needs at least one adult each day helping with the 1st through 6th grade program (supervising doors, sign in, classrooms, lunch).  This person must be safe environment trained.  Safe environment training is provided by the Archdiocese for no cost, contact Rachel Bielstein at the parish office for more info.

Please direct all questions to Rachel Bielstein at 402-556-1456 or rjbielstein@midtowncatholic.church

Saint Joan of Arc- Feast May 30th

When being questioned as to whether or not she was in God’s grace, St. Joan of Arc amazed the theologians by replying “If I am not, may God put me there; and if I am, may God so keep me.”

Read more about St. Joan of Arc, one of our two patron saints, here.
