MidWeek Update 1/4

Catechism of the Catholic Church Class

January 15th Fr. Jindra will be starting a class on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, based on the Knights of Columbus publications titled the “Luke Hart Series” written by renowned philosopher Peter Kreeft. Please join Fr. Jindra at 5:30 Sunday – after the 4:30 Mass.

Support Our Seminarians

This Sunday’s second collection goes to supporting our seminarians. Your donations are greatly appreciated for supporting our next generation of priests.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Our second collection on the weekend of January 22nd and 23rd will be for our St. Vincent de Paul fund for our two parishes.

Our St. Vincent de Paul societies help the less fortunate within our parish boundaries. You can donate money, food, clothing, shop at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift stores, Volunteer to be a member, and pray to help your neighbors in need.

We get several calls a day to our parish office. We could use more volunteers to listen to the voice of God in the poor.

Live Lent Together

Lent is more than just giving something up.
It’s an opportunity to refocus on Jesus. And you don’t need to do it alone!

Break open God’s Word with fellow parishioners. Jesus spent most of his public
life teaching a small group of twelve men, and that small group of disciples went
on to change the world. This Lent, it’s your turn!

LEADERS: WHAT TO EXPECT

Group Leaders will be trained to lead a 6-week small group centered around the Word of God during Lent. Each leader caninvite friends, neighbors, co-workers, and/or family members to be participants in their group. You could also have us fill your group with interested parishioners.
All materials will be provided to group leaders and their members.
